Global Commodity Manager - Printed Circuit Boards

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring a Global Commodity Manager for Printed Circuit Boards in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers execution of commodity and category strategies worldwide, procurement policies and tactics, and coordination with engineering, manufacturing and business units to ensure supply, service levels and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute commodity and category strategies worldwide and company procurement policies and tactics
• Coordinate purchasing with engineering, manufacturing, strategic procurement and business units to maintain planned inventory levels, assure supply and meet business requirements
• Develop and run broad, horizontal strategic plans and initiatives, coordinating global and regional experts
• Lead large, cross-functional teams on complex projects and programs, and mentor lower-level contributors
• Analyze programs, delivery solutions, processes and technology linkages and key metrics to drive strategy and efficiency
• Provide expert advice across business divisions and industries, and introduce new processes and programs

Required profile

• First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred
• Typically more than 10 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
• Global procurement experience and experience working across different programs and products
• Mastery of English and the local language
