About the role

The Industrial Mechanic will work full‑time on‑site in Carolina, Puerto Rico, supporting safe and efficient operations of industrial machinery. The role involves inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and documenting work on a variety of equipment while collaborating with project and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and milling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and testing of machines.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Strong maintenance and repair skills with hands‑on experience in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of milling equipment and ability to set up, operate, and maintain it safely.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Commitment to workplace safety, adhering to OSHA or equivalent standards and using proper PPE.
• Relevant technical training or certification in industrial mechanics or a related field.
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably project‑based.
• Basic computer skills for maintenance documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Carolina with flexibility for occasional overtime or shift adjustments.
