IT Auditor – Internal Audit Department

About the role

FirstBank is seeking an IT Auditor to join its Internal Audit Department. You will conduct audits of business units, functions, and bank applications to assess internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audits independently or as part of a team, completing procedures within scope, objectives, and time budgets.
• Prepare comprehensive working papers, record exceptions, and communicate findings to audited areas.
• Assist in drafting internal audit reports, summarizing observations and recommendations.
• Participate in disaster recovery tests, audit certifications, and IT meetings.
• Support non‑IT auditors on technology‑related matters and ensure compliance with education standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in IT audit or a similar role.
• CISA certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience using banking software and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of data security protocols.
