Jenkins CI/CD Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a skilled Jenkins Developer with strong DevOps experience to implement, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week working from an HPE office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, deployment and release automation.
• Create and maintain Jenkinsfile / Pipeline-as-Code implementations using Declarative or Scripted Pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CI/CD pipeline failures, build issues, deployment problems and performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor build and deployment pipelines and improve their reliability, scalability and security.
• Participate in incident resolution, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins and Jenkins Pipeline.
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Groovy for Jenkins Pipeline scripting.
