Junior Accountant – Property Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant specialized in property accounting to support a growing real estate company in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This full‑time, on‑site position offers an entry‑level opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with tenant billing, accounts receivable/payable and month‑end reporting. The role reports to the accounting manager and works with multiple property entities.

Key responsibilities

• Tenant billing and invoicing
• Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
• Bank deposits and reconciliations
• Recording transactions in QuickBooks
• Supporting monthly reporting and accounting activities
• Maintaining accurate records across multiple properties and entities

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• QuickBooks experience required
• Proficiency in Excel
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous bookkeeping/accounting experience is a plus
• Property accounting or Yardi experience is a plus
• English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred
