About the role

The Fairmont El San Juan Hotel, located on Isla Verde Beach in Puerto Rico near Old San Juan, is hiring an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. The role directs and organizes restaurant operations to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing, maximizing profits through outstanding customer service.

Required profile

• Four-year college degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management required.
• At least five years' experience in a related field preferred; hotel restaurant management experience preferred.
• Experience supervising employees required.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations in a multi-cultural environment.
• High drive for results, adaptable and flexible, able to build relationships.
• Strong planning and organizing skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent guest relations, problem-solving and time management skills.

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Working knowledge of Micros.
