About the role

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel, located on Isla Verde Beach in Carolina, Puerto Rico, is hiring a VIP Host/Hostess for its Chico Lounge. The host ensures each guest receives a personalized warm welcome, a flawless seating sequence and a thoughtful farewell.

Key responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere that guarantees consistent guest satisfaction at a 5-star hotel service standard
• Provide a personalized warm welcome and a fond farewell to every guest
• Ensure a flawless seating sequence
• Sell and promote the brand

Required profile

• Experience in VIP lounges or high-end private clubs
• High school graduate
• English and Spanish speaking
• Food and beverage or hospitality experience preferred
• Available to work weekends, holidays and special events
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for entire shifts

Required skills

• Social media presence and experience posting appropriately
• Quality of service and ability to work under pressure
• Adaptability to changing customer volumes
