Senior Engineering Manager

About the role

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel, a resort on Isla Verde Beach in Puerto Rico near Old San Juan, is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager. The manager directs the installation and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure safety and efficiency, and takes on leadership responsibilities such as mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the installation and repair of electrical, mechanical and architectural systems across the property
• Ensure the safety and efficiency of the facility's systems
• Take on leadership responsibilities, including mentoring more junior engineers

Required profile

• At least a 2-year college (associate) degree preferred
• More than 7 years of engineering experience
• Three years or more of engineering management experience in hospitality or the high-rise industry
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Experience in projects management and mechanics, with mechanic experience in hotels preferred
