Repair & Maintenance Technician (Electrical License)

About the role

The Repair & Maintenance Technician with an Electrical License will ensure the hotel’s guestrooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities are kept in excellent condition. Working on a vibrant resort in Isla Verde, you will combine technical expertise with a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry systems across the property.
• Maintain guest rooms, public spaces and back‑of‑house areas to high standards of safety and appearance.
• Diagnose faults, execute repairs, and coordinate with external contractors when needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• High school, vocational or technical school graduate.
• 5‑6 years of progressive maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Valid Puerto Rico Electrical License.

• Electrical systems installation and troubleshooting.
• Plumbing repair and maintenance.
• Mechanical systems upkeep.
• Carpentry and general building work.
• Basic computer proficiency on Windows platforms.
