Senior Technical Marketing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer who is a hands‑on networking expert. The role is hybrid, requiring relocation to Puerto Rico, and focuses on routing, switching, automation, telemetry and AI‑driven network operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex networking, automation, and telemetry initiatives.
• Build and validate labs, proofs‑of‑concept, reference architectures and technical demonstrations.
• Translate customer challenges into scalable technical solutions and serve as a trusted advisor.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Services.
• Work with APIs, network programmability, assurance, observability and AI‑driven operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications or related field.
• 10+ years of networking experience in service provider, enterprise or large‑scale data‑center environments.
• Strong customer‑facing, presentation and cross‑functional leadership abilities.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in routing, switching and network architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with Python/scripting, Linux and APIs.
• Network automation, gNMI, YANG, streaming telemetry and API‑driven architectures.
• Network management, assurance, observability and control‑point applications.
• Experience building labs, POCs and integrations.
