About the role
OSNET Corp. is seeking a Tier 2 Network Support Engineer to join its technical team in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. You will handle escalated cases from the NOC, Tier 1 team, and field technicians across a variety of network technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex network issues involving fixed wireless, fiber optic/GPON, CPEs, routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, VLANs, NAT, DHCP, and firewall policies.
- Support Tier 1 engineers, document solutions, and escalate to Tier 3 or vendors when necessary.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in network or ISP support, including at least 1 year in a Tier 2 or escalation role.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
Required skills
- Juniper JNCIA‑Junos, Fortinet NSE 4, MikroTik MTCNA and MTCRE certifications.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, static routing, OSPF, BGP, VPNs, and firewall policies.
- Hands‑on experience with equipment such as Tarana, Ubiquiti, Cambium, MikroTik, Juniper, Cisco, and GPON/ONT devices.
